he main objective of his research work is to improve design methods and evaluation of seismic vulnerability of the significant RC building structures in Slovenia (structural wall buildings, prefabricated industrial buildings, …).
He also takes part in a group working on further develpment of a software system OpenSees developed by PEER Center in California.

e participated as co-author of a paper in the 5th general meeting of the Croatian Society of Structural Engineers on Brioni Islands in Croatia.
He participated in a workshop of the project "CAMUS 3 International Benchmark" in Pariz (France).
As co-author he presented a paper on the 23th general meeting of the Slovenian Society of Structural Engineers in Bled (Slovenia).
