In the paper four different
examples of calculation with NISA programme are presented. The results of
nonlinear static analysis of fibre reinforced polyester container are presented
at first. The container is exposed to various levels of internal pressure
loading in order to simulate the process of liquid filling. The body of the
structure is describes by shell elements, while the connections of different
structural parts are modelled by beam elements. Numerical analysis for
rehabilitation of twenty years old cooling tower of power plant in TE Šoštanj is
the second example. The recalculation of this structure was made with beam
elements, the load was combination of dead load and wind. Non-linear analysis
and shape optimisation of steel shell structure (penstock trifurcation) is the
next example. The linear analyse of one untypical steel element (basement of the
transport crane) is shown in the last section [COBISS.SI-ID 91751]
