| Povzetek: |
In the paper results of a study of
inelastic seismic response of five-storey steel moment-resisting frame buildings
are presented. Two different torsionally stiff structural systems were
investgated. For onestructural system, a torsionally flexible variant was also
studied. The symmetric structures were designed according to Europe 8. Asymmetry
was introduced in plan by taking into account 5% accidental eccentricity, as
proposed by Eurocode 8. In addition, larger mass eccentricity was also applied.
Seismic response was determined by nonlinear dynamic analyses of spatial
structural models subjected to six recorded ground motions. Excitation was
simultaneous in two horizontal directions. For comparison, uni-directional
excitation was also applied. Four different levels of ground motion intensity
were used. In addition, nonlinear static ("pushover") analyses were performed.
In the paper, the main results have been summarised and several conclusions have
been drawn [COBISS.SI-ID 757601]
