The objectives of the research, summarised in the paper, are to explore
possibilities for practical determination of the BST surface in the case o
realistic multi-storey buildings and to examine its application for prediction
of the seismic response of asymmetric buildings. One symmetric and two
asymmetric variants of a four storey R/C frame building designed according to
Eurocodes 2 and 8 were selected as test examples. In the paper, the construction
and the main characteristics of BST surface as a design and evaluation tool for
general multi-storey asymmetric buildings are also given [COBISS.SI-ID 757345]
