Povzetek: In earlier studies of construction information technologies we have found out that process- or activity-centered views provide a very useful general perspective on "computing in civil engineering". This lead us to believe that a process centered approach to automation and integration could prove useful as well. A study is under way that aims at developing a generic process model for AEC. This extended abstract summarizes some the starting points and foundations of the work. Initial results will be presented at the conference
