Internet and its World Wide
Web interface are among the newest information technologies which have been made
available for use in construction. The firstpart of this paper is an attempt to
define and informally model the domain of construction information technology.
The second part investgates howthe Internet deals with the information
processing in construction. It has been found out that the present solutions
fail to finding the information and that it lacks information which is
