Computer graphics is largely
understood as a set of algorithms associated with displaying pictures to graphic
devices. Until recently, software helping programmers to add pictures to their
programs included only procedural elements, usually without any or with few data
structures. The awareness that computer graphics is largely a database and a
data structure problem is relatively new. With the object-oriented programming
paradigm we are given a tool to restructure our conception of computer graphics
and reorganize graphiclibraries into well structured set of objects. The paper
will suggest an object tree needed in computer graphic. An object-oriented
equivalent of what in /1/ is called a "Small Graphics Package" will be presented
as an example
Računalniško grafiko praviloma razumemo kot zbirko
postopkov v zvezi z risanjem slik na grafične naprave. Do nedavna so programske
knjižnice, ki so programerjem onogočale, da so njihovi programi tudi risali,
vsebovale samo proceduralne elemente običajno brez posebnih podatkovnih
struktur. Zavest, da so mnogi problemi računalniške grafike v veliki meri
problem baze podatkov in podatkovnih struktur, je razmeroma sveža. Z objektno
orientiranim vzorcem programiranja smo dobili orodje, s katerim lahko
reorganiziramo naše koncepte o računalniški grafiki v strukturiran, urejen nabor
objektov. Članek predlaga drevo osnovnih objektov, ki so v grafiki potrebni. Za
primer bo prikazana uporaba majhne grafične knjižnice [COBISS.SI-ID 410465]
