Podan je kratek uvod v
nevronske mreže. posebna pozornost je posvečena možnim aplikacijam na področju
konstrukcijskega inženirstva. Predstavljene so osnovne ideje in algoritmi,
komentirani pa so tudi nekateri probabilistični aspekti. Osnovna ideja, ki je na
kratko predstavljena, uvaja nevronske mreže na področje aktivne kontrole in
ocene kapacitete različnih armiranobetonskih elementov.
A brief
introduction to neural networks is given; special attention is paid to effective
and potential applications in the field of structural engineering. The basic
algorithms and some original ideas, that were implemented in the standard
back-propagation procedure, are described and discussed. A quasi-neural-network,
or neural network-like system, is also briefly presented. Some probabilistic
aspects and their potentialities are eventually investigated. The main
applications which are presently in progress deals with some different topics
within active structural control and with the assessment of ductility and
low-cycle fatigue capacities for reinforced concrete columns and beams.
