The basic features of the N2 method, a
relatively simple nonlinear method for seismic damage analysis developed at the
University of Ljubljana, are: the use of two separate mathematical models, the
application of the response spectrum approach, the push-over analysis, and the
use of a damage model which includes cumulative damage. In the paper, after a
veryshort summary of the computational procedure, the recent advances in the
development of the N2 method are presented. They include the extensions of the
applicability of the method to infilled frame structures and to bridges.
Comparison with experimental results obtained at the ELSA in Ispra as well as
with results of nonlinear dynamic analyses are shown. The possibility of the
extension of the method to the analysis of asymmetric buildings is briefly
addressed
N2 je relativno enostavna nelinearna metoda za analizo
poškodovanosti konstrukcije zaradi potresnih obremenitev,ki je bila razvita v
IKPIR-u. Osnovne značilnosti metode so: uporaba dveh ločenih matematičnih
modelov, uporaba spektrov odziva, nelinearna statična analiza pri monotono
naraščajoči vodoravni obtežbi in uporaba modela poškodovanosti, ki vključuje
kumulativne poškodbe. V članku je po kratkem povzetku metode prikazana
razširitev uporabnosti metode na okvire s polnili in na mostove [COBISS.SI-ID 315233]
