| Povzetek: |
V zadnjih letih so
To spreminja
način dela posameznikov in organizacijo gradbeništvakot celote. Ponekod imajo
daljavo, (2) v mednarodnem okolju in (3) prek meja ozko specializiranih strok.
Univerze v Ljubljani.
The recent advances in information and communication technologies can
make technology-supported collaboration nearly as efficient as through personal
contacts. This is changing the ways of the individual work and also the ways,
how the construction industry is organised as a whole. At certain schools, the
students already have opportunity to get used to distance working using the
Internet technologies. They will be agents of changes in the companies where
they will be eventually employed. One of such programs - PBL - runs at the
University of Stanford, USA. The participating students learn (1) distance
working (2) in an international environment (3) across the borders oftheir
professional specialisation. The PBL program runs using distance learning
techniques over the Internet. The faculty is using it to test distance learning
methods and to study opportunities and disadvantages of such a type of
lecturing. Since 1989 Faculty of Civil and Geodetic Engineering has been
involved in this programme. In the paper, the programme, the experiences of our
students and the suggestions for teaching engineering in general are presented.
We claim that in addition to using modern technologies, the essential issues
are, that this kind of the study should be project based, interdisciplinary and
integrated [COBISS.SI-ID 1250913]
