Visiting professor in 2000 and 2001 at Ecole Normale Superieure de Cachan, France.

Research

y research activities are in the domain of computational mechanics, numerical analysis
and applied mechanics. Strong points of my research are: computational mechanics of shells,
nonlinear finite elements, mechanics of composite structures and large rotation structural mechanics.

Important research projects:
"Optimization of laminated composite structures", sponsored by Ministry of Education, Science and Sport of Slovenia, 1999-2001;

"Development of shell model for industrial applications", PROTEUS project, 1998-1999.
