Summary: Stress and strain coordinates in isotache sets of normally consolidated soils define the degree of the previous secondary consolidation. According to actual creep speeds and the time interval the non-linear stress-strain relationships of viscous soils can be linearized in any time step of a consolidation analysis performed as a joint solution of diffusion and equilibrium equations. Depending on the permeability and the length of seepace paths the degree of the previous secondary consolidation has been proved to influence considerably the dissipation of pore pressures [COBISS.SI-ID 490337]
