Summary: Zaradi nekaterih pomanjkljivosti standardnih metod smo se na Zavodu za gradbeništvo odločili za razvoj nove metode za določevanje zmrzlinske odpornosti v prisotnosti soli in opis porozne strukture betona, ki temelji na računalniško podprti mikroskopski analizi sistema zračnih por v betonu. Članek podaja kratek pregled obstoječih metod, ki se uporabljajo za določevanje odpornosti betona na zmrzovanje/odtajevanje v prisotnosti soli ter predstavlja razvojne korake in glavne značilnosti nove metode, ki je še v razvojni fazi.

Due to certain disadvantages of the existing standard methods for the determination of concrete freeze thaw resistance in the presence of salts, a new method is being developed in the Slovenian National Building and Civil Engineering Institute. The method is based on computer aided microscopic analysis of the pore system in concrete. The paper presents a short overview of methods presently available for the determination of concrete freeze thaw resistance in the presence of salts. Further, basic features of the new method and main steps taken in its development are described.
