| Summary: |
In the
paper, six simplified procedures for nonlinear seismic analysis and/or
performance evaluation of building structures, based on pushover analysis and
response spectrum approach, are briefly described and employed for analysis of a
regular multi-story frame structure. Two simple procedures, that do not require
the pushover analysis, are also included. The results of simplified procedures
are compared with the results of nonlinear dynamic analyses. The comparison
indicates that the employed procedures generally yield results of adequate
accuracy. However, they differ in regard to simplicity, transparency and the
clarity of the theoretical background [COBISS.SI-ID 1660769]
