Natančno 36 let po ljubljanskem potresu je bilo izdano
dovoljenje za Nebotičnik. Zanimivo je, da je bila v dovoljenju zahtevana
potresna izolacija konstrukcije, kar dokazuje skrb za potresno varnost v tem
zgodnje času. Čeprav je bila ideja o potresni izolaciji stavb znana že prej, nam
ni znano, da bi bila kjerkoli na svetu pred tem uporabljena v praksi. V
prispevku je reproduciran del originalnega teksta gradbenega dovoljenja.
Exactly 36 years after the eartquake in Ljubljana, the construction of
the first "high-rise" building (called "the skyscraper" by the inhabitants of
Ljubljana) was approved. It is interesting that the base isolation of the
construction was required which proves the concern for seismic safety in those
early days. Althrough the idea of the base isolation of buildings was known
before, the "skyscraper" represents, according to our knowledge, its first
application in practice in the world. A part of the original document of the
