V članku je prikazano trenutno stanje znanja na
področju projektiranja potresnovarnih zgradb. Podatki o značilnostih
pričakovanih potresov so nezanesljivi in prav tako je nepopolno naše znanje o
obnašanju zgradb v neeelastičnem področju. V praksi je zato za račun običajnih
zgradb povsem ustrezno uporabljati zelo približne metode. Za potresno varnost
zgradb so izredno pomembni ustrezna zasnova in konstruiranje ter kvalitetna
gradnja. Za ilustracijo posameznih razglabljanj so v članku prikazani nekateri
podatki o potresu v Črni gori aprila 1979 in rezultati neelastične analize
armiranobetonske montažne hale v Breginju
In the paper the state of the
art in the field of earthquake resistant design of buildings in described. The
data concerning the characteristics of future earthquakes are unreliable. Our
knowledge of the nonlinear dynamic behaviour of structures is also limited.
Therefore very approximate methods are completely adequate for the analysis of
usual buildings is the practice. The earthquake resistance of buildings is
strongly dependent on the appropriate layout and detailing and on the quality of
the construction. Some data from the April 1979 Montenegro earthquake and the
results of the nonlinear dynamic analysis of a prefabricated RC industrial
building in Breginj are presented for the illustration of particular discussions
